You should always shut the lid on your toilet when you flush. Flushing can make the water in the toilet mist and spray up to 20ft. away. It’s one easy thing to help stop the spread of germs during cold season. YUCK!
I have been lucky enough to find quite a bit of “green products” at my local grocery store. They are more expensive but I use quite a bit less than the other products so I think it evens out.
