Once you have reduced your clutter, organize what you keep.  Buy some plastic containers and label them.  The containers will keep your stuff dry, clean and together.  There are so many containers now that are color coded for different Holidays or built for any use and are inexpensive.  I use them over and over.

The first step in becoming organized is reducing clutter. My rule is if I don’t touch something for an entire year….it goes.  Have a garage sale, use craigslist, or donate and get that write-off.

To keep your towels, blankets, or sheets smelling fresh when not in use, put a fabric softener sheet where you are storing them.  They will smell great for months!
