My mom recently convinced me to try Suavitel liquid softener. We were in the store and I was reaching for a bottle of fairly expensive stuff. She said to try it and I’m in love w/ it. It leaves everything smelling wonderful and I can’t believe how soft it is. Half of the price, too.

Using peroxide when washing whites makes your clothes just as white as when using bleach. Just add a splash to each load and see the results.

Thanks Keeper!
If you use dryer sheets- a frugal friend suggested cutting them in half. Works just as well.
Then I found adding white vinegar to the final clothes rinse- then dry as usual. Everything is fluffier with no residue and no vinegar smell.

Thanks for the tip Swaptip!
Do you love crispy shirts but hate starch? Try ironing newly-laundered shirts while they’re still damp. Hang immediately on a wooden hanger. Voila! Nice crispy shirts, and you saved the dryer time as well.

Quick tip from Vanessa in Cali:
If you have damp clothes and you want to dry them quickly, put a dry towel in with them. It will help absorb the moisture and dry them faster.
For your wrinkled dry clothes throw them in with a damp towel and it will help to remove the wrinkles.
