Line your pots and or pans with foil as much as possible while cooking. Clean up will be so easy. Just wad up the foil and toss it!

Every so often when you are cleaning your kitchen, you should empty the salt and pepper shaker and throw them in the dishwasher. Make sure you let them dry well before filling them again or you will end up with salty clumps.
