Easy tip from Jennifer W. in Denver:
put a couple of drops of dishsoap into a spray bottle with water. I haven’t found a product that works as well on mirrors and glass.

Let the sun shine in your home:
Open the curtains when it’s sunny, your house will get heat for free.
Use a smarter de-icer:
Sand will provide better traction than salt and won’t harm your plants.
Turn down the Thermostat and install a programmable one.
Seal all leaks around your windows and in the attic.

So…my family and I have moved from a large city to a very small town. I love the idea and feel of a small town but already miss the modern conveniences of the city. The main thing I miss: recycling pick-up.
