Stop loosing socks in the laundry by giving everyone in your house their own special sock hamper.  Everyone places their socks in there at the end of the day and then when it is time to do laundry, collect all of the baskets and do a sock load (towels and sheets are something else that can be washed at the same time to create less loads) and when the laundry is done, as long as the socks made it in the basket then they should come out of the dryer.  And then it is easy to sort every one’s socks and place them back into the baskets to put them away. 

Just a little basket works best and it can even be decorative to blend into each room or the kids bathroom, depending on where you place your baskets.
