Rags to Riches

Save money by not buying paper towels and using rags to clean. An old t-shirt can easily turn into a rag to use around the house. I also use socks, if I buy some and don’t end up liking them, and they are great to slip over your hand to dust the house. Then when you are done cleaning wash the rags with biodegradable laundry detergent and line dry to save energy.
I completely agree w/ this and it’s hard to change your old habits. I was going through so many packs of paper towels and have recently started using old towels.
This even goes for wiping up your kids after eating and working in the kitchen. It’s so easy to reach for the paper towels- but in the long run, it’s not the right thing to do.
