This is a new one that I just learned-love it.

To clean up your shoes, especially walking or jogging shoes, use Cascade in your washing machine. Place 2 Cascade gel packs in your clothes washer with the water level low. Set the setting on delicate. Throw your shoes in and let them sit for 2-3 hours, then wash on delicate. The shoes that I saw that went through this process looked like brand new.
