cleaning lamp shades??

I have a question for ya’ll. What do you do to clean your lampshades?? All of mine are white or off-white and by the time I notice they are dirty, I can’t seem to clean them. Do you have a way to clean them or do you replace them? Do you dust your’s often so that they don’t get as bad as mine?

Here is an article I found to help you in your quest for the cleanest shades in the kingdom…

I use a lint brush on mine – the masking tape type. Light dust can also be picked up with a dryer sheet.

I do dust mine when I do my weekly cleaning party, but I do not have white or anywhere near close to white shades. The only white thing about me, is ME!!

I like to vacuum my shades from time to time. You can use the drapery attachment (one with brissles). Then if needed, I wipe down with a warm dish cloth that has been submerged in light detergent water and rung out. I would do the full submerge into bath tub at last resort!
