So…my family and I have moved from a large city to a very small town. I love the idea and feel of a small town but already miss the modern conveniences of the city. The main thing I miss: recycling pick-up.

I have searched far and wide for recycling in my county and there isn’t any at this time. We have actually driven all of our moving boxes and cans of recyclable goods over one county. So, I will start attending my city and county commission meetings now to see what I can do.

Have any of you out there dealt with starting an entire recycling program in your county?
