I have to tell you that my house is on the market to sell right now. It has actually been on the market for a few months and it’s exhausting keeping it clean.

I always thought that I really loved cleaning and that it was my stress outlet. I had a system- I would crank up the music, drink coffee and clean. When I was done, I would light candles everywhere and feel great about playing with my kids and relaxing. Now, I’m not so sure anymore. When you HAVE to keep your house as clean as a showcase home- I mean every single thing picked up- it’s obnoxious.

I’m not sure that I will be the same person after this experience. Things seem different now. I have so many other things that I would rather be doing than cleaning and showing my home. I hope that my love for the smell of bleach will return upon my move, we will see……
