question of the week:

Everybody has something that they skip over while cleaning, something that they completely overlook even if it needs cleaned. Where do you cut corners???

I don’t rinse my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher. I know it’s bad. I just kind of dump what’s loose in the trash and throw ‘em in.

i could care less about the interior of my car. it’s pitiful: dog hair, take-out sacks, shoes i’d forgotten about. i recently found an old pringle’s can in there. i literally can’t remember the last time i ate pringle’s.

Dusting. The house is dusty again within a day and it doesn’t seem worth my time to do it with every cleaning. My husband is taller than I am and if it starts to bother him, then he can grab a dust cloth and rid us of the dust bunnies!! =)

If I skip over it then how do I know what it is? I would say the microwave, I don’t pay attention to it until it is filthy. And that is always because my husband cooks spaghetti or something in there with no cover and it explodes all over. When I remember toclean it, it is almost always filthy!

Definitely the top of the fridge, i always forget to clean that. behind the fridge doesn’t really get any attention either, until we lose something and have to move it.

I may be a bit OCD, but my goal is to not skip anything 2x in a row. If I skip the top of the fridge, or under a piece of furniture this week, I make sure it’s on my “To Do” list for the next week. This system works really well for those “not every day” sorts of things.
