I do agree with you. I should have been more clear in my post and said to line the pans when you are in a hurry. Doing it often would be wasteful. I have a question for anybody out there? What would be more wasteful: 1. to line 1 pan with foil and toss it when you are done. 2. do not line the pan and get it crusty. Then wash the pan by hand w/ chemicals twice because it will not come clean. You are using energy to heat your water and run your dishwasher. You are also using quite a bit of water and you have chemicals in the drain off. Hmmmm? I like your thinking, Common Sense. I do agree with you.
