line your pots and pans during use

Line your pots and or pans with foil as much as possible while cooking. Clean up will be so easy. Just wad up the foil and toss it!

umm… in keeping with the whole earth day post, isn’t this extremely wasteful and unneccessary?
I like your thinking, Common Sense. I do agree with you. I should have been more clear in my post and said to line the pans when you are in a hurry. Doing it often would be wasteful.
I have a question for anybody out there? What would be more wasteful:
1. to line 1 pan with foil and toss it when you are done.
2. do not line the pan and get it crusty. Then wash the pan by hand w/ chemicals twice because it will not come clean. You are using energy to heat your water and run your dishwasher. You are also using quite a bit of water and you have chemicals in the drain off. Hmmmm?
