My family has had as many as 3 cats at one time and the cleaning of the litter box was a chore. We started buying the electric litter boxes and love them. We have gone through 3 of them in the last 6 years- but I think we have saved money on litter and we’ve saved a lot of time. I’m putting a link to the box we recently chose and like. You do have to wipe off the box every month or two but that’s about it. You can leave for the weekend and know that the litter is being taken care of.

It’s nice not having to ask family to check on your cats as often while you travel!
